Perla Venata is a creamy white quartzite, quarried from a bedrock quarry in Brazil. It is quarried from the same mountain range as Taj Mahal quartzite and as such, will have the same creamy white background. However, its veining will be lighter than the Taj Mahal, giving it a brighter appearance overall. Perla Venata’s warm background tone is accentuated with fluid, light brown veining throughout. Due to the durable characteristics of quartzite, it is a perfect option for kitchen countertops. During the polishing process, an epoxy resin is applied to the surface of the stone to fill in any natural pits, cracks, or fissures that may exist.
