Azzurra Bay is a polished quartzite from a bedrock quarry in Brazil. The background is a cool white with blue undertones interspersed with thin veining that ranges in color from light brown, taupe to grey throughout creating a striking yet subtle design. During the polishing process, an epoxy resin is applied to the surface of the stone to fill in any natural pits, cracks or fissures that may exist.
